Workshop 9th March 2011
Well! We all had a great day - the students were brilliant and engaged with the themes around sustainable development really well. They came up with interesting ideas for sustainable improvement and began to translate these into animated scenes:
Animation expert Karen Sayle demonstrates how a zoetrope works.
An area of the school currently ready for some sustainable development.
An ideas spider diagram.
Some of the visuals for animation created by the students.
Lights, camera, action!
The completed animation by the Clough Hall students will be posted soon........

Bringing the storyboards to life
Animations complete! The final storyboards were brought to life on Monday 7th February, during the final workshop at Haywood High School.
The creative regeneration solutions ranged from encasing the school within a geodesic dome, similar to the Eden Project (above image), to an on-site wind farm that would generate power for the school and surrounding neighbourhood.
Great ideas!
Well done to all the groups on their fantastic work - animations will be uploaded soon, so keep checking the blog for more news!
